থাইরয়েড গ্রন্থি, প্যাঙক্রিয়াস বা অগ্ন্যাশয়, লালাস্রাবী ও অন্ত্রজগ্রন্থিসমূহ এবং পাকাশয়িক শ্লৈষ্মিক ঝিল্লীর উপর এই ঔষধটি মূলতঃ কাজ করে। পিত্ত নিঃসরনের পরিমান বাড়িয়ে থাকে। আধকপালে ও কলেরা মর্বাস, এই দুটি এই ঔষধের বিশেষ রোগা অবস্থা, যেখানে ঔষধটি ভালো কাজ করে।

মাথা — কপাল অংশে বেদনা, তৎসহ বমি বমিভাব। মাথার চামড়া সঙ্কুচিত বলে মনে হয়। বিশেষ করে ডানদিকের রগ আক্রান্ত হয়। আধ কপালে, বিশ্রামে বৃদ্ধি রোগের শুরু দৃষ্টির অস্পষ্টতা দ্বারা, মানসিক পরিশ্রমের পরে বিশ্রামকালে। মাথায় চামড়ায় পুঁজযুক্ত উদ্ভেদসমূহ।

কান – কানের ভিতর গর্জন, বুজবুজশব্দ, ঝিন ঝিন শব্দ তৎসহ বধিরতা। শ্রবনশক্তির গোলযোগ থেকে মাথাঘোরা, তৎসহ কানের ভিতর তীব্ৰ শব্দ সমূহ।

মুখমন্ডল — প্রাতঃরাশের পরে স্নায়ুশূল, স্নায়ুশূল ইনফ্রা-অরবিট্যাল স্নায়ু থেকে শুর হয় এবং সমগ্র মুখমন্ডলে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে।

গলা — মুখগহ্বরে ও জিহ্বাতে ঝলসে যাবার মত অনুভূতি। গলার ভিতর উষ্ণতা ও হুলফোটার মত অনুভূতি। জ্বালা। প্রচুর লালাস্রাব, লাল দড়ির মত, গলগন্ড।

পাকস্থলী — সমগ্র পাকাশয়িক নলীর ভিতরে জ্বালা। টক, রক্তমিশ্রিত, পিত্ত বমন। বমিবমিভাব। প্রচুর লালা নিঃসরণ (মার্কিউরিয়াস; ইপিকাক; ক্যালি আয়োড)। ক্ষুধার স্বল্পতা।

উদর — যকৃতে টাটানি ব্যথা। কেটে ফেলার মত বেদনা। পেট ফাঁপাসহ শূল বেদনা। উদরাময়; মলজলের মত, তৎসহ মলদ্বারে জ্বালা এবং অন্ত্রের ভিতরে জ্বালা। নির্দিষ্ট সময় অন্তর রাত্রিকালীন উদরাময়, তৎসহ বেদনা ও সবুজ বর্ণের স্রাব সমূহ। কোষ্ঠকাঠিন্য (৩০ শক্তি)

অঙ্গ-প্রত্যঙ্গ — স্থান পরিবর্তনশীল বেদনা। সাইয়েটিকা, মনে হয় যেন বামদিকে হিপজয়েন্ট মোচড়াচ্ছে। বেদনা হাঁটুর পিছনের অংশ পর্যন্ত প্রসারিত হয়। গণোরিয়াযুক্ত বাতজ অবস্থা (আইরিসিন ব্যবহার করা যায়)।

চামড়া — হার্পিসজুস্টার, তৎসহ পাকাশয়িক গোলযোগ। পুঁজযুক্ত উদ্ভেদসমূহ। সোরিয়্যাসিস; চকে আঁশযুক্ত অনিয়মিত ছোপসমূহ। একজিমা, তৎসহ রাত্রিকালীন চুলকানি।

কমা-বড়া-বৃদ্ধি, রাত্রে ও সন্ধ্যায় বিশ্রামে। উপশম, অবিরাম নড়াচড়ায়।

সম্বন্ধ – দোষঘ্ন নাক্স।

তুলনীয় – আইরিস ফ্লোরেন্টিকা (প্রলাপ, তড়কা, ও পক্ষাঘাত); আইরিস ফ্যাক্টিসিমা (মাথার বেদনা ও হার্নিয়া); আইরিস জার্মানিকা—(শোথ ও চামড়ার উপর দাগ সমূহ);

আইরিস টেন্যাক্স – (শুষ্ক মুখগহুর পাকস্থলীর ভিতর মৃতের ন্যায় অনুভূতি, ইলিয়ো- , সিক্যালস্থানে বেদনা; অ্যাপেন্ডিসাইটিস)।

প্যাঙ্কক্রিয়েটিনাম — বিভিন্ন প্রকারের এনজাইমের এক প্রকার মিশ্রন-(পাকাশয়িক হজমের গোলযোগে নির্দেশিত হয়; আহারের এক ঘন্টা অথবা তার বেশি সময় পরে বেদনা। অজীর্ণ খাদ্যবস্তু যুক্ত উদরাময়, মাত্রা ৩-৫ গ্রেন, খুব ভালো হয় পাকস্থলীর লক্ষনগুলি যখন সক্রিয় অবস্থায় থাকে তখন ঔষধ না দেওয়া)।

পেপসিনাম — (অসম প্রকৃতির হজমক্রিয়া তৎসহ পাকস্থলী স্থানে বেদনা। যে সকল শিশুরা কৃত্রিম খাদ্য খেয়ে থাকে তাদের শীর্ণতা রোগে হজম না হওয়ার ফলে উদরাময়। মাত্রা ৩-৪ গ্রেন)। প্যাক্রিয়াসের রোগ সমূহ, গেঁটে বাত, ডায়েবিটিস।

MIND:

GUIDING INDICATIONS:

-Sweat smells strongly of vinegar.

-PERIODICITY, complaints recur every spring and autumn; everyday at 2 or 3 a.m.

-Continuous NAUSEA, bitter, acrid VOMITING, urging to stool, and profuse urine, with periodic VISUAL DISTURBANCES, blindness, hemiopia etc, accompany ophthalmic right sided MIGRAINE, involving teeth.

-Head-SICK HEADACHE after relaxing from mental strain.

-One sided, right temple specially affected, < rest.

-Begins with blurred vision.

-Frontal headache with nausea and vomiting.

-Scalp feels constricted with pustular eruptions.

KEYNOTES:

1. Burning through whole G.I.T not > by cold drinks.

2. Profuse, ropy saliva, drops from the mouth when talking.

3. Sick headaches beginning with blurred vision, mostly right sided with nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, depression, profuse urine.

NUCLEUS OF REMEDY:

-A remedy for periodical complaints – sick headache and acidity.

-It produces nausea and vomiting.

-It is an active cathartic and diuretic.

-Stimulates liver as well as pancreas.

CONFIRMATORY SYMPTOMS:

1. All complaints associated with burning and acidity of the gastrointestinal tract.
